What inspired you to run for Mayor in 2024? I served as Mayor in 2021, having decided to run in 2020 following discussions with several friends and neighbors who had experienced a lack of satisfaction in their interactions with the City of Cambridge. During my time in office, we were just able to begin making the kinds of adjustments and changes needed to improve Cambridge. In policy, in responsiveness, and in capability, improvements had started to become apparent as that year continued, up until the time I left office.
