The Hub of Delaware

Harrington was founded in 1780 by Benjamin Clark and originally known as Clark’s Corner. The railroad city was incorporated in 1869, and grew through manufacturing in the area. Today, Harrington is the location of the Delaware State Fairgrounds and the Harrington Raceway and Casino and has long been a destination for harness racing.
