National Night Out celebrated in Crisfield and Princess Anne on Aug. 6

Somerset County’s two municipal police agencies are leading the sponsorship of National Night Out on Tuesday, Aug. 6 in their communities.

In Crisfield, National Night Out will be held at Somers Cove Marina and hosted by the Crisfield Police Department from 5 to 7 p.m. There will be free hotdogs and hamburgers, popcorn, snow cones and a school supplies giveaway by several community groups.

Also participating will be the Crisfield Fire Department, the Lower Somerset Ambulance and Rescue Squad, Coast Guard, and the State Police Trooper 4.

To volunteer or if interested in participating call the CPD at 410-968-1323.

The Princess Anne Police Department will host its event along with allied first responders from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Garland Hayward Youth Center.

This is also a family-friendly event featuring free food, police and fire company displays, games and giveaways, a K-9 demonstration, and music by DJ 9-Eleven.
