State police investigating shooting in Millsboro-area

MILLSBORO—Delaware State Police are investigating a shooting that left a Millsboro man injured on Thursday afternoon.

Authorities said at approximately 1:30 p.m. on Nov. 10, troopers responded to the 25000 block of Oak Street regarding a shooting. Troopers contacted a 30-year-old Millsboro man who had been shot once in his left thigh during an altercation with an unknown male subject.

The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment of his gunshot wound and no one else was harmed in the incident according to Delaware State Police.

The Delaware State Police Troop 4 Criminal Investigations Unit continues to investigate this case. Troopers are asking anyone who witnessed this incident to please contact Detective P.
