Police identify victim in fatal Felton crash
By FELTON - The Delaware State Police have identified the victim who died in a single-vehicle fatal accident on March 2 as Michael Ibach, 75, of Frederica.
Police said Mr. Ibach was driving a vehicle eastbound on Carpenters Bridge Road approaching a moderate curve when it crossed the westbound lane and traveled off the road before crashing into a tree. He was transported by ambulance to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
The Troop 3 Collision Reconstruction Unit continues to investigate this collision. Troopers are asking anyone who witnessed this collision to please contact Master Corporal J. Lane by calling 302-698-8457. Information may also be provided by sending a Private Facebook Message to the Delaware State Police or contacting Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-847-3333.
