Garrett: Take a look at what makes Meyer different

I am writing to express my support for New Castle County Executive Matt Meyer in his bid to become Delaware’s next governor, as well as encourage others to carefully consider what makes him different!

Matt has done an excellent job as county executive in New Castle County and has been an effective and empathetic leader. When you talk with Matt, he always manages to focus the conversation on his constituents, not on himself. He is genuinely interested in the residents of Delaware and how he can make our state better.

At a time when our nation is increasingly divided, and there seems to be daily scandals, we, as Democrats, can nominate and elect a hardworking leader who has put forth a plan focused on improving education and addressing the cost of living. He has a vision, and he has laid out a plan to get us there.

Most importantly, Matt is an ethical leader, one who we could hold up to children as a role model. If you haven’t started thinking about Delaware’s gubernatorial election, please look at mattmeyer.org. There is a lot to see there! It’s a chance to make a big change in our little state!
