WCSO detectives dismantle drug distribution operation

EDEN — Detectives from the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office Community Action Team and Criminal Investigation Division executed a search and seizure warrant on Feb. 29, 2024, at a residence in the 28000 block of Allen Cut Off Road in Eden, Wicomico County. The operation resulted in the arrest of a suspect and the dismantling of a local drug distribution operation.

During the execution of the search warrant, detectives uncovered approximately 100 grams of cocaine, approximately $3,400 in US Currency, a digital scale, and an assortment of drug distribution paraphernalia.

The target of the search warrant, 54 year-old- Dwayne Lamonte Taylor, was taken into custody at the scene. Taylor is now facing charges, including possession with intent to distribute narcotics and other related offenses. Taylor is currently being held without bond at the Wicomico County Detention Center.
