Man charged with child sexual solicitation counts in Delaware
GEORGETOWN — A 66-year-old Maryland man has been arrested on multiple counts of felony sexual solicitation of a child.
According to the Delaware State Police, on Oct. 19, detectives learned that Wayne Long requested sexually explicit images from multiple underage males via Snapchat, in exchange for transportation to and from Sussex County beaches.
Police said detectives identified two children who were targeted by Mr. Long on multiple occasions over the summer.
On Monday, Mr. Long responded to Troop 4 after troopers contacted him by phone. He was charged with felony sexual solicitation of a child under 18 (two counts). Mr. Long was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 2 and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution, Georgetown, on an $80,000 cash bond.
