County sets budget workshop
By GEORGETOWN — On Tuesday May 7 beginning at 9 a.m. the Sussex County Council will meet at the Emergency Operations Center, 21911 Rudder Lane in Georgetown, for its annual budget workshop.
The new budget will concern fiscal 2025. Last year’s budget exceeded $278 million.
Following the workshop, the council will hold an afternoon session of its regular meeting, starting at 1:30 in council chambers, 2 The Circle in Georgetown.
