MILFORD — The Chamber of Commerce for Greater Milford will hold debates next month among the candidates for City Council leading up to the April 27 election.

“This will be a standard debate format with a moderator and the same questions asked of all candidates,” said Pat Abel, president of Chamber of Commerce for Greater Milford. “Questions will consist of issues facing Milford only and will not pertain to state or national politics.

“We also hope to offer a virtual option for those who cannot attend in person.”

The debates for Ward One and Ward Two will take placeon April 18 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Milford High School Auditorium. This will include candidates Michael Boyle, Madula Kalesis, Lori Connor and Nadia Zychal.

Ward Three and Ward Four will then take place April 23 from 6 to 8 p.m., also at the Milford High School Auditorium. This will include candidates Danny Perez, Michael Stewart, Katrina Wilson and Phillip Ruiz.
