SALISBURY — Cancer survivors across Delmarva are invited to attend one of TidalHealth’s many National Cancer Survivors Day celebrations in June. The National Cancer Survivors Day Foundation, Inc. identifies this special day as a celebration for those who have survived, an inspiration for those recently diagnosed, a gathering of support for families, and an outreach to the community. According to the American Cancer Society, a little over two million new cancer cases are expected to be diagnosed in the US in 2024.

TidalHealth’s National Cancer Survivors Day celebrations will include refreshments, giveaways, butterfly releases and more. Additional event information is provided below:

The Cancer Survivors Day celebrations will take place at the following locations:
• Tuesday, June 4, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at TidalHealth Richard A. Henson Cancer Institute, 100 E. Carroll St. in Salisbury.

• Tuesday, June 4, from 4 to 5:15 p.m. at the Maintaining Active Citizens (MAC Inc.) Healing Rose Garden, 909 Progress Circle in Salisbury.
