CRISFIELD — The City of Crisfield and its marketing committee are thrilled to announce the return of the Jazz On The Waterfront festival for its second year.

Taking place against the picturesque backdrop of the Chesapeake Bay, this event is intended to deliver an unforgettable experience for jazz enthusiasts and music lovers alike.

Event Details:

  • Date: Saturday, Sept. 14, 2024
  • Time: 3 - 7 p.m.
  • Location: Crisfield City Dock

This year's lineup features an impressive array of talented artists, which organizers say will take the festival to "Another level." Attendees can look forward to performances by:

  1. Vaneisa & Jazz Etcetera
  2. Guitarist Cashmere Williams
  3. Flutist Althea Rene
  4. Motown's Duane Parham with guitarist and vocalist Clarence Williams Jr. (back by popular demand)

Festival-goers are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and settle in for four hours of exceptional jazz music in a picturesque waterfront setting. To complement the auditory experience, Crisfield's best food vendors will serve delicious local cuisine on-site.

Tickets are $42.19 per person and can be purchased online through the official ticketing platform, PromoTix or at local businesses. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit https://explorecrisfield.com and click on the Annual Jazz Festival tab at the top of the page.

The inaugural Jazz On The Waterfront festival in September 2023 was a resounding success, featuring performances by local talent Ronnie Sterling, Vaneisa & Jazz Etcetera, and Detroit's beloved saxophonist Duane Parham.
