Speak Up: Santa, the Grinch and friends rev up holiday spirit in Delaware

Posted

It’s only natural to see Santa Claus sitting atop a parade float or a firetruck or inside a shopping mall. However, at the height of the pandemic three years ago, Joshua Sweeney approached his older brother, Jason Sweeney, with the idea of delivering Santa and some of his friends to various locations throughout Delaware via motorcycle. That mission has been accomplished, as the group — known as “I Saw the Grinch Chasing Santa” — is in its fourth rendition this holiday season.
