Marie Gillian Gannon, of Harrington, DE, passed away on Monday, October 19, 2026 at Bayhealth Hospital, Kent Campus. Marie was born in Kingston, Jamaica, the daughter of the late Ivanhoe and Imogene Cain. She was an entrepreneur, owning several businesses. She owned and operated the Jamaican Restaurant Stop N Nyamm, operated two salons M.K. Hollywood and Sassy's, was a caregiver, antique dealer and owner of O.M.G. Collage on Commerce Street in Harrington. In her spare time, Marie loved to travel and was known as the life of the party at get togethers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by 2 brothers Junior Cain and Mark Cain.
She is survived by her daughter Yashuka Milton, sisters Annett Cain-Williams, Madge Leito-Cain, Juliet Cain, Evande Cain-Bowley, and Daphne Cain; brothers Alfred Cain, Benjamin Cain, Ezra Cain, Randal Cain, Oneil Cain, and Olel Cain.
A Celebration of Marie's Life will be private at the convenience of the family. The family requests that no flowers be sent, but contributions be made to: The Food Bank of Delaware
