La Red to host panel discussion on wealth, health in Georgetown

GEORGETOWN — La Red Health Center will host the “Building Bright Futures: Empower Your Wealth & Nurture Your Health” panel discussion from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at its facility at 21444 Carmean Way.

Gertha “Gigi” Jean, owner of One Way Insurance Group in Seaford, will moderate the panel, which will also include:

  • José Quiñones, founder and broker of Linda Vista Real Estate
  • Mary DuPont, creator of the Stand by Me program and the founder of La Plaza
  • Jocelyne Firmin, a Haiti-born entrepreneur who founded the skin care company Kiyamel
  • John Russum, La Red’s behavioral administrator

The discussion will focus on how the panelists were able to develop their businesses and build their wealth. It is free and open to the public.
