Guided birding walk Aug. 28 at Janes Island State Park
CRISFIELD — Janes Island State Park’s monthly birding walk is 9 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 28. These hikes are held on the fourth Wednesday in partnership with the Maryland Ornithological Society, Tri-County Chapter.
Participants will be able to learn birding from MOS volunteers and observe the different species of birds that call Janes Island home.
This easy hike is open for birders of all ages and experiences. Bring binoculars or borrow one from the park. Meet at the Nature Center, call 410-968-1565 for more details.
