I would like to respond to Julia Sperry’s letter (“An open letter to those who voted for Trump”). She, apparently, has a lot of issues with her family; however, she is not alone. Obviously, she has been listening to CNN, ABC, MSNBC, CBS and NBC way too long. If President-elect Donald Trump was going to do all the things that these stations say he is going to do, why didn’t he do it the first time around?
The dictator that you are mentioning is actually President Joe Biden. His first day in office, he dismantled 91 of President Trump’s bills. He put 35,000 people — American citizens, along with some Canadians — out of work when he closed down the pipeline, which has now made us energy-dependent on OPEC once again. He stopped the building of the wall along our border, which would have stopped the invasion of illegal immigrants who have brought crime, along with a countless number of diseases.
Millions of hardworking taxpayers have seen their taxes thrown away to worthless causes. And now, while our citizens who have lost everything due to a hurricane ask for help, they watch their tax dollars go to these invaders. We watch in total disbelief that our president goes to Africa, gives some country a billion dollars for a railroad and denies our citizens help.
And, if that is not enough, he sets a felon free who should have been locked up like Al Capone for income evasion. He has put his family above the law, and he will get away with it.
