Liaqat joins TidalHealth Cardiology, Seaford

SEAFORD — Dr. Khurram Liaqat recently joined TidalHealth Cardiology, Seaford.

Dr. Liaqat received his medical degree from Lahore (Pakistan) Medical and Dental College/University of Health Sciences. He completed his internal medicine residency at The Brooklyn (New York) Hospital Center, where he served as chief resident during his final year.

He earned his cardiology fellowship at Mount Sinai Beth Israel/The Brooklyn Hospital Center; his advanced invasive heart failure/transplant cardiology fellowship at Newark (New Jersey) Beth Israel Medical Center; and his interventional cardiology fellowship at Stony Brook (New York) University Hospital.

Dr. Liaqat is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, the American Board of Internal Medicine-Cardiovascular Disease, the American Board of Internal Medicine-Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology, and the National Board of Nuclear Cardiology. He is also a verified registered physician in vascular interpretation.

The doctor has also been involved in multiple volunteer projects, including earthquake relief activities in Pakistan, and has served on the Committee of Interns and Residents at The Brooklyn Health Center. When he is not treating patients, Dr. Liaqat enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors.
