Blood Bank schedules mobile drives in Georgetown, Milton
By Glenn RolfeGEORGETOWN – The Blood Bank of Delmarva has scheduled several mobile drives next week in Milton and Georgetown.
Jason Burlew, Marketing Manager/Donor Engagement, announced that the first will be a Blood for a Brew Mobile Drive, Monday, May 20 at Dogfish Head in Milton. It will run from noon to 6 p.m.
On Thursday, May 23 two drives will be staged in Georgetown.
The Sussex County EMS Mobile Drive is from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., followed by a second Blood for Brew Mobile Drive, this one at Revelation Craft Brewery on South Bedford Street.
The EMS drive, at the Delaware Coastal Airport base at 21911 Rudder Lane, will help mark the Blood Bank’s one-year anniversary of partnering with Sussex County EMS to provide pre-hospital blood in the field, Mr. Burlew said.
