City of Rehoboth hosts Beebe flu shot clinic
REHOBOTH BEACH — The City of Rehoboth Beach will host a free Beebe Healthcare flu shot clinic from 9 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Oct. 20, in the convention center at 229 Rehoboth Ave. Flu vaccines, both regular and high doses, will be available while supplies last to adults only (18 and older) on a drop-in basis; appointments are not required.
The CDC recommends the influenza vaccine for those at high risk of complications from the flu, which includes those 65 and older. The CDC also suggests that everyone 54-60 consider getting the vaccine.
