SALISBURY– Hebron Savings Bank recently made a generous $25,000 contribution to the TidalHealth Foundation supporting the SPARK campaign for graduate medical education (GME).
In recognition of the donation, TidalHealth is naming the financial counseling room at the Edward Q. Wilgus Community Clinic the Hebron Savings Bank Financial Counseling Room.
The clinic and primary care practice, which is being constructed on the site of the former Hotel Esther on East Church Street in Salisbury, will also serve as home base for TidalHealth’s resident physicians who are specializing in internal medicine. It is expected to accommodate between 12,000 and 15,000 visits per year, with an anticipated opening later this year.
Along with the medical options available to patients near their homes, the community will also benefit from additional services including financial counseling, nutritional counseling, support groups, chronic disease self-management and community support services being offered directly inside the clinic.
