Christiansen: Thanks to DAFB for First State Airshow

Last weekend, we had the opportunity to enjoy the hospitality of Dover Air Force Base at the First State Airshow.

Col. Chris McDonald and the men and women of the Eagle Wing and the Liberty Wing opened the Air Force base to the public to show how they protect and defend all of us and the freedoms we enjoy each and every day. Thank you for the vital service you perform every day without question. As I have said many times with pride, “Dover is Dover Air Force Base, and Dover Air Force Base is Dover.” Remember, when you see one of our big birds flying overhead with a roar, that’s the sound of freedom. Thank you, again.
