Birding walks on fourth Wednesday at Janes Island State Park
CRISFIELD — Janes Island State Park’s monthly birding walk is this Wednesday, July 24 at 9 a.m. These hikes are held on the fourth Wednesday of each month in partnership with the Maryland Ornithological Society, Tri-County Chapter.
Participants will be able to learn birding from MOS volunteers and observe the different species of birds that call Janes Island home.
This easy hike is open for birders of all ages and experiences. Bringing your own binoculars is encouraged, but the park will have a limited number available for use. Meet at the Nature Center.
