I recently listened to the audio of the presentation by Bayhealth leaders at Dover’s Council Committee of the Whole meeting Sept. 23. Bayhealth wants to expand the capacity of the current hospital, so it can better treat and serve the citizens of Dover. On face value, this is a positive venture to explore.

The Delaware Division of Parks and Recreation is considering fee increases for its 18 facilities statewide, whether it be on daily, annual or lifetime passes — the first time the agency has done so since 2015. This is following a record number of visitors over the past year, but administrators say expenditures have outpaced revenues, partially due to higher salaries. What do you think about the price of entry for state parks? How will you be affected by a possible fee boost?

I totally agree with Mr. Leroy and Mrs. Mary Bookhultz (“Hybrid owners being penalized with new fee”). My hybrid runs on gas almost 100% of the time. Why then should I be penalized? I do not pull in to electric chargers!
