Barratt’s Chapel in Frederica outlines Summer Worship Series

FREDERICA — Barratt’s Chapel will present its Summer Worship Series at 7 p.m. each Thursday, beginning June 13.

The schedule is as follows:

• June 13 — Pecometh Camp & Retreat Ministries will bring together campers and staff, past and present, in a service reminiscent of the camping experience. The Rev. Megan Shitama-Weston, ordained deacon and Pecometh’s program director, will preach.
• June 20 — The Rev. Dale Brown, senior pastor at Community United Methodist Church, Berlin, Maryland, will preach. He has served several churches in the Peninsula-Delaware Conference.
• June 27 — The Rev. Amy Yarnall of Wesley United Methodist Church, Dover, will preach. She has served in the conference since 1997.
• July 4 — No service
• July 11 — The Rev. Casey Houtz, who serves Ewell’s-St. Paul United Methodist Church, Clayton, will preach. He is in his sixth year of ministry, after a career in broadcasting.
• July 18 — The Rev. Wendy Owens Butterworth of Millville United Methodist will preach.
• July 25 — The Rev. Tom Pasmore, the incoming Delaware district superintendent, will preach. He has served in a number of appointments in Delaware and on Maryland’s Eastern Shore.
