BROOKVIEW — Brookview Hope Home recently donated packed purses to the Salvation Army in Cambridge. The purses packed with daily necessities will be distributed to women who seek the services of the recently installed Bair House located at the Salvation Army complex at 200 Washington St., Cambridge. The shelter is a welcome accomplishment for our community as it will help those in need through the cold weather winter season.
Brookview Hope Home has sponsored the ‘’Pack-A-Purse-Project’’ — now in it’s third year and has held numerous packing events and distributed well over 600 purses in that time with at least 150 purses being donated to this location alone, in Cambridge.
Brookview Hope Home is a vintage second hand shop located in the town of Brookview, North Dorchester County that consistently gives to causes and needs of our local communities.
Other Delmarva locations of ‘Pack-A-Purse’ donations include: Mid-Shore Council of Family Violence, Easton; St. Martin’s House in Ridgely; His Hope Ministries, Denton; Talbot Interfaith Shelter, Samaritan Shelter in Pocomoke, and numerous agencies in Salisbury, Georgetown and Seaford Del., and more.
