Speak Up: What’s your tornado safety plan?

Delaware was one of many states that saw devastating storms recently. One death was reported after a tornado near Greenwood, and there was significant damage to buildings, including some that are “destroyed or gone.” As of March 30, the U.S. had experienced 264 confirmed tornadoes this year, with 100 confirmed tornadoes in January, an unusually high number.
