DOVER — The Live Love Laugh Wedding Guide is looking for a couple to grace its 2024 cover.

If you live or got married in Delaware or on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, submit your best wedding photo for a chance to be featured. Even if your photo isn’t selected for the cover, it could be included among the editors’ favorites, which will also be published in the guide.

“The photo contest has been my favorite addition to Live Love Laugh. It’s the goal of the publication to put a spotlight on local vendors, local venues and, most of all, local weddings,” said its creative director, Thomas Maglio.

Residents of Delaware and the Eastern Shore of Maryland will receive first consideration for this competition. Couples and ceremonies of all kinds are encouraged to participate.

“Obviously, photographic skill, mood and the general vibe of each couple goes into account when deciding on a cover. But, ultimately, a photo that just screams ‘Delmarva’ will usually shoot to the top. For instance, we had a couple submit their photos in front of Marty’s Playland arcade in Ocean City (Maryland),” Mr. Maglio said. “Any local would recognize that place instantly.”

Of course, the Delmarva Peninsula is a nuanced and beautiful place, so couples should share whichever shot feels special to them — because that will ultimately shine through.

The deadline is 5 p.m. Jan. 14, 2024. To enter the contest, visit baytobaynews.com, click “Promotions” and then “Live, Love, Laugh Photo Contest.”

Photos must be from 2020 to the present. Provide a high-resolution image, the location of the venue and the names of everyone in the picture.

Details: No purchase necessary. Must be at least 18 years old to enter. Must be able to supply the photographer’s name and contact information for us to secure publication rights from them. Submission of photograph serves as permission from the couple for Independent Newsmedia Inc. USA to use their image on the cover and/or inside the 2024 edition of the Live Love Laugh Wedding Guide, in addition to other publication-related promotions.

The guide will be published in February 2024 by the Daily State News and the Maryland newspapers, the Salisbury Independent, the Dorchester Banner and (Somerset) County Times.
