Question of the Day: What’s your tornado safety plan?

Posted

Here is the Question of the Day:

Delaware was one of many states that saw devastating storms over the weekend. One death was reported after a tornado near Greenwood, and there was significant damage to buildings, including some that are “destroyed or gone.” As of Thursday, the U.S. has experienced 264 confirmed tornadoes this year, with 100 confirmed tornadoes in January, an unusually high number. Do you know the difference between a tornado watch and tornado warning? What is your family’s safety drill in case of a tornado or other severe weather? You can find more information at cdc.gov/nceh/features/tornadosafety.
