Milford Garden Club's garden of the month for June
MILFORD -- The Milford Garden Club announced the Garden of the Month for June.
The house on 803 West Lane Circle in Milford was purchased by Judy and Garry Grier in 1978 as their first home. They both have lived in Milford all their lives.
Vistors are welcomed with a beautifully patterned brick walkway that leads to the garden at the front of their home.
The garden includes many flowers such as pink vincas, rust-colored barberry bushes, white liriope and boxwoods, daylillies, begonias and more.
It also has an array of trees such as tamukeyama maples, dogwood, holly and more.
The couple thinks they make a great team as they work to keep the garden looking good.
Ms. Grier loves being outside and planting varities of flowers throughout the seasons. Mr. Grier keeps the grass cut and dumps the mulch for her.
