Anyone who reads the letters from Mr. Frank Daniels knows that to suggest to him that the Trump presidency is anything but akin to the second coming is a fool’s errand (“Who’s really representing us in Congress?”).
But, after weeks of watching the efforts of Donald Trump, Elon Musk and their Republican cronies, for Mr. Daniels to write, “The Democratic Party … is incredibly representative of those who only care about power and do not truly represent the best well-being of the voters of Delaware,” strains credulity.
I defer to Jonathan Swift: “There are none so blind as those who will not see. The most deluded … are those who choose to ignore what they already know.”
