Three students injured in Salisbury shooting

Three Salisbury University students were injured Sept. 14 when shots were fired in an off-campus incident on Ohio Avenue in Salisbury.

The students – all males – were taken to TidalHealth Peninsula Regional and treated for non life-threatening injuries, Salisbury Police said.

At about 11:30 p.m., city police responded to the 300 block of Ohio Avenue off Waverly Drive for a report of gunshots in the area. Upon arrival, officers discovered that three adult males had been struck by apparent gunfire.

The neighborhood is about 1 mile north of the SU campus.

Police are asking for the public’s help in investigating the incident. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact police at 410-548-3165. Info can also be provided anonymously at 410-548-1776 through Crime Solvers, who will award up to $1,000 for info leading to an arrest.
