Stars of The Eastern Shore voting has officially closed

Posted

After countless hours tallying the nomination results, the online ballot for the voting phase of the Salisbury Independent Readers’ Poll – Stars of The Eastern Shore opened on July 1.

During the initial phase of the Stars, there were over 11,000 nominations for businesses and community organizations to be included on the official Stars of The Eastern Shore ballot. Salisbury Independent group advertising director Konrad La Prade has shared these thoughts on the contest, “So far, the nominations and votes we have received, surpassed all of our projections and they are a testament to all of the businesses on the Eastern Shore who have done so much to build loyalty in their customers. There are some really tight races shaping up, so make sure to vote for your favorite businesses before the contest ends!”

Just like during the nomination phase, the Stars of The Eastern voting phase offers a $250 prize for voters.  Anytime the readers complete a voting ballot they will be entered to win a $250 prize.  No purchase is necessary to win.  The ballot must include votes in 25 categories to be eligible to win this prize.

There is no limit on the number of times that one individual can fill out the voting ballot.

Then, the Stars of The Eastern Shore winners will be announced in a special keepsake booklet released in September in the Salisbury Independent.

Voting for the Stars of The Eastern Shore and entries to win the $250 prize can be done online at StarsofTheEasternShore.com through Sunday, Aug. 2.
