Salisbury Christmas Parade scheduled this Sunday

Posted

Mountaire Farms will present the 77th Annual Salisbury Christmas Parade, hosted by the Salisbury Jaycees on Sunday, Dec. 3.

The Salisbury Jaycees Christmas Parade in partnership with the City of Salisbury will return the parade back to its former route ending at City Park on East Main Street. The parade will begin at the corner of Civic Avenue and Mount Hermon Road and continue down to East Main Street.

This year's grand marshal is Jack Heath. From businessman to City Council President to mayor, Heath's commitment to the city of Salisbury and surrounding areas has had a great impact on many in the community.

The event begins at 1 p.m. with local bands, first-responders, elected officials and many more with Santa closing out the parade.

Rain date is Sunday, Dec. 10.

Entries will be accepted until Tuesday, Nov.29. For applications and more information visit the Salisbury Jaycees’ Facebook page at facebook.com/salisburyjaycees or Email parade@salisburyjc.com.
