New ownership brings developments at Fruitland’s Crown Sports
Semipro soccer team, the Salisbury Steaks, now playing at site

Since 2005, Crown Sports Center in Fruitland, Maryland, has offered the community all sorts of family entertainment and sporting needs.
Then, in March 2021, the facility was purchased by Salisbury developer Gillis Gilkerson, which completed renovations — like upgrades to fields and courts, as well as the addition of a rock-climbing wall — to improve the overall customer experience.
