SALISBURY — TidalHealth is pleased to welcome Aleksandra Ward, CRNP, to TidalHealth Neurosurgery in Salisbury, Md.

Ward received her postgraduate degree in adult gerontology acute care from Purdue University Global in West Lafayette, Ind., and her bachelor's degree from Aspen University in Colorado. She is a board-certified nurse practitioner and a vascular access board-certified nurse.

Ward started her healthcare career as a nursing assistant at TidalHealth Peninsula Regional on 5 Layfield and has been a registered nurse with TidalHealth since 2016. Since then, she has worked in multiple units within the hospital; the last four years focused on critical care, vascular access specialty and as a rapid responder.

Ward met her husband on the Eastern Shore and permanently moved to the United States from Russia in 2007. They have two sons, both of whom practice karate and play soccer. When she isn’t treating patients, she enjoys spending time with her family near the ocean, their two dogs and eight cats, hiking, kayaking and reading true inspirational stories.
