DOVER — Delaware Stonewall PAC, a group focused on supporting equality for the LGBTQ community, elected several new board members at its annual membership meeting.
Erik Raser-Schramm, the former chairman of the Delaware Democratic Party, was elected as political vice president, while American Civil Liberties Union legal staff member Dwayne Bensing and clinical social worker Anthony Purcell also joined. Chairman Peter Schott, as well as Scott Strickler, Tara Sheldon and Martin Rendon, were reelected.
In addition to the elections, members discussed legislative issues the organization will pursue, including preventing insurance companies from discriminating against persons who use pre-exposure prophylaxis and eliminating a “gay panic” defense.
