DAGSBORO — The Delaware Center for the Inland Bays and ches-SUP-peake will hold the Stand Up for the Bays Paddle Race and Fest from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 3 at Holts Landing State Park, 27046 Holts Landing Road.
This gathering will include paddleboarding, live music, food and an information booth — all raising funds to restore and preserve Delaware’s Inland Bays.
There will be four paddle courses along the Indian River Bay, starting and finishing at the park.
Categories for stand-up paddleboards are surfski, sea kayaks (ages 13 and up), one-man outrigger canoe and two-man outrigger canoe. There also will be a recreational option for those who prefer a more leisurely pace.
Registered participants will receive an event T-shirt, and one beverage and food after the paddle.
