OCEAN VIEW — Sadie Slavin will hold a presentation to the Ocean View Historical Society recounting her 500-mile walk across Spain in 2022.

The meeting, at 7 p.m. Wednesday, will be held at Hall’s Store in the Historic Village in Ocean View.

Last September, Ms. Slavin set out on a 30-day, 500-mile walk on Camino de Santiago, a trail stretching from St. Jean Pied-de-Port, France, to the west coast of Spain. Her journey ended in Santiago de Compostela.

Camino de Santiago is a 1,200-year-old pilgrimage route to the Santiago de Compostela cathedral, in which St. James the Apostle’s remains are entombed.
