Police identify victim in fatal Laurel shooting

LAUREL — Delaware State Police have identified a 26-year-old Laurel woman as the victim of a homicide Sunday.

Authorities said Taylor German was found seated in a vehicle on West Sixth Street at approximately 9:35 p.m. suffering from gunshot wounds. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 41-year-old Millsboro man had also been shot and was transported to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The Homicide Unit continues to investigate the incident and asks anyone with information to call Detective A. Bluto at 302-741-2859. Information may also be provided by sending a private Facebook message to the Delaware State Police or contacting Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-847-3333.
