Nurse on the Run 5K in Milford benefits scholarships, certifications
MILFORD — Bayhealth will hold its fourth annual Nurse on the Run 5K/1 Mile Walk at 9 a.m. April 13 at its Sussex Campus, 100 Wellness Way.
Proceeds will support professional development for the health system’s nurses, including scholarships for advanced certifications.
This year’s event is designed for runners and walkers alike, as participants can sign up for the 5K or the untimed 1-mile walk.
Bib pickup and day-of registration will begin at 8. Registrants will receive a tech-style T-shirt, and there will be family-friendly activities at the finish line, including music, food, a bounce house and face painting.
