W3 What Women Want Fest, a day of friends, fashions and shopping

Posted

WYOMING — This fun, casual event returns to Wild Quail Golf & Country Club in Wyoming on Saturday, March 23, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The female-centric festival will include vendors, light refreshments, a complimentary signature cocktail from Wild Quail, a fashion show, door prizes and giveaways in a festive, relaxed atmosphere.

The event is presented by the Daily State News and sponsored by B.I.G. Investments, SEIFF Center, Easterseals Delaware & Maryland’s Eastern Shore, and Eye Specialists of Delaware. The vendor hospitality area is sponsored by the Delaware Municipal Electric Corporation.

Besides enjoying the atmosphere, guests can visit and shop with vendors for fitness, health and wellness, jewelry, home improvements, beauty, and more.

This year’s signature cocktail is a Strawberry Mint Moscato Punch provided by Wild Quail because they know that women enjoy sipping on a fruity and refreshing drink while spending time with their gal pals. A cash bar will also be available.

“Plus, our ‘local celebrity’ models will light up the W3 Fest runway during a fashion show, featuring the newest spring and summer fashions from Talbots of Dover,” said Heather Cregar, Daily State News director of marketing & promotions.

“As in past years, our ‘celebrities’ are some of the local women leaders who run our non-profits and businesses and are truly a reflection of the words ‘Girl Power.’”

Health & wellness demos will also be part of the schedule, including stretching and strengthening by Nancy Hawkins Rigg with Forever Fit Foundation and a Jazzercise demonstration by the team from the new Dover studio.

“If you are reading this and you don’t have your tickets yet, what are you waiting for?” Ms. Cregar asked. “We have so many exciting things happening for this year’s W3 Fest; you won’t want to miss it!”

Tickets cost $10 in advance or $15 at the door. Tickets and more details are online at DelmarvaEvents.net.

The event program book will publish in the Daily State News on Sunday, March17 and online at BayToBayNews.com/SpecialSections. It features more event details including the list of vendors, info from the models and helpful tips from our event sponsors.

Limited vendor space is still available by contacting adsupport@iniusa.org.
