Velazquez receives recognition for Dover festival
DOVER — Dover City Councilman Brian E. Lewis presented Anthony “Tony” Velazquez, the organizer of the Baila Con Dover Latin Festival, a Certificate of Recognition on Aug. 31.
The Certificate of Recognition, signed by Second District Councilman Lewis, reads: Anthony “Tony” Velazquez you are hereby Recognized for your dedication, time and efforts in coordinating and promoting the 2nd annual “Baila Con Dover Latin Festival.” Your willingness to bring all citizens of our community together to celebrate and recognizing the rich histories, cultures and contributions of the Latino population is inspiring as we Shape the Future Together.
