DAGSBORO – A unified effort Wednesday afternoon produced Indian River High School’s second victory in the Unified Flag Football season, a 51-24 conquest of the Smyrna Eagles.

The victory ups IR’s record to 2-1, following a win over William Penn and a narrow loss to Caesar Rodney.

The Indians close out the regular season schedule at Cape Henlopen next Tuesday and a Nov. 6 home finale against Dover.

The top eight teams among the 11 teams statewide advance to the post-season playoffs. The DIAA championship game will be held Nov. 29 at Delaware State University.
