Truitt Street impassable due to water service replacement
SALISBURY — The city of Salisbury has announced that Truitt St. will be impassable July 19.
The Department of Waterworks Utilities Division will replace a water service at 425 Truitt Street. City officials said the work is to improve, repair and maintain the Water Distribution System.
Truitt St. will be impassable to all through traffic including emergency vehicles. Work began at 8:30 a.m. and is slated to conclude around 3 p.m., barring any unforeseen events.
"All locators and Central Alarm will be notified of this event," the city said in a release. "We appreciate your patience and consideration. Please contact the Utilities Division at 410-548-3103 for more information."
