St. Cecilia Music Guild to award scholarship to Sussex County senior
LEWES — The St. Cecilia Music Guild at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church announces a $1,200 scholarship to a graduating high school senior in Sussex County who has been accepted to major in a collegiate music program.
Students must apply with supporting materials, including an essay detailing the reason for choosing the major and stating career goals; a copy of the acceptance letter from a college or university; and video or audio recording of a recent solo performance, using collegiate audition recordings if possible.
Apply at tinyurl.com/2024scmgapp. The deadline for applications with supporting materials and a teacher endorsement is April 28. An online form for the teacher is available at tinyurl.com/2024scmgteach.
The Guild will notify applicants by May 6. The winner will receive the nonrenewable scholarship at that time.
