Spring's ‘fleeting beauty’: Milford’s April garden of the month

Posted

MILFORD — Right as spring gets into swing, the Milford Garden Club has honored Gerry and Wendy Embleton with the club’s garden of the month award for April.

The garden is in the front yard of the Embletons’ home at 903 Meadow Brook Lane, Milford. The garden is represents the essence of spring’s “fleeting beauty,” wrote club member Sue Fischer in a press release, with its Japanese Hollies, creeping junipers, crimson barberries, prairie fire, blue sedge, and solid green and variegated hostas.

“It is truly such a simple but perfectly designed eye-catching little garden,” she wrote.
