Sports betting roundup: The Dodgers currently have the best odds to win the World Series

With baseball's All-Star Game quickly approaching and the regular season surpassing the midway point, the Los Angeles Dodgers have the best odds to win the World Series at +310 at the BetMGM online sportsbook.

Going into Monday's games, they are 55-36 and have a 7.5-game lead in the NL West. The Philadelphia Phillies have the second-best odds at +500. With a 58-32 record, they lead the NL East by eight games.

The New York Yankees have the best odds to win the World Series in the American League at +600. Although they are 55-37, they have been struggling recently and trail the Baltimore Orioles by three games in the AL East.

When it comes to MLB betting, the Orioles (+650) are drawing the most number of bets (11.1%), while the Phillies are bringing in the most money (14.4%).

Paul Skenes continued his impressive rookie season for the Pittsburgh Pirates on Friday. Against the New York Mets, he allowed two runs over seven innings and struck out eight. The eight strikeouts hit the over of 7.5 strikeouts, improving overs to 8-2 this season on his strikeout props. On Friday, 69% of the bets were on his over.

Bronny James made his NBA Summer League debut for the Los Angeles Lakers on Saturday, but did not hit the over on many of his prop bets. James finished with four points on 2-for-9 shooting, two rebounds, two assists and one steal in 22 minutes. Davis Thompson earned his first career PGA Tour win Sunday at the John Deere Classic. Going into the event, he was +2200 to win and was drawing 3.8% of the bets and 4.3% of the money. Thompson shot 62 on Saturday and 64 on Sunday to finish at 28 under and give him a four-shot victory.

Alex Bowman won NASCAR’s rain-shortened race in Chicago. He entered with +2200 odds, but only took in 1.6% of the bets and 1% of the money.

Entering the Euro 2024 semifinals, Spain has the best odds to win the European Championship at +190. England is next at +250, followed by France (+275) and the Netherlands (+450).

The final is scheduled for Sunday.

Copa America is also heading to the semifinals, where Argentina has the best odds to win the tournament at -125. Uruguay is next at +250, followed by Colombia (+350) and Canada (+2800).
