- Jane Brady did a nice job of unveiling the historical traditions and prevalence of insufficient fiscal management in Delaware. Let’s hope Gov. Matt Meyer will provide more than lip service to this important issue. It is time to show some real courage, sir. On the federal level, we can see how difficult fiscal responsibility has become. The same entrenched bureaucracy exists on the state level. With a backdrop of real estate reassessments, it would be reassuring to see some spending reforms statewide.
