Speak Up: Governor’s recommended budget grows by less than 5%

Gov. Matt Meyer presented his recommended operating budget for the media Jan. 28 and outlined his priorities in education, housing, health care and Delaware’s workforce. The proposal for fiscal 2027, weighing in at $6.94 billion, is a 4.99% increase from fiscal 2026.
